With the 2014 Audi RS7, the German automaker introduced the hottest edition of its coupe-style four-door series. Audi RS 7 is the most powerful RS model ever offered in the U.S.
With its combination of a twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter, 560-horsepower V8 engine and Audi's excellent Quattro all-wheel drive, the RS7 is expected to hit 60 miles per hour in just 3.7 seconds.
Audi says the V8 lifts the 2014 RS7 from zero to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds, while engine stop-start and cylinder deactivation should help the RS 7 return a combined 24 mpg.
Inside, the 2014 Audi RS7 exudes sportiness and power with its three-spoke perforated multifunction sport steering wheel with contrast stitching and RS 7 emblem, sport seats in Valcona leather with honeycomb quilting, and RS-specific shift knob and interior door handles. The All New Audi RS7 also features RS-specific Carbon fiber inlays; optional Layered Aluminum/Black wood decorative inlays; black-faced instrument gauges, white scales and red needles; aluminum pedals and footrest; and a Black Alcantara headliner (optional). |
A series of design details give the Audi RS7 a dynamic edge to its flowing coupe design, complete with vast expanses of honeycomb grille and lower air inlets, assures that this is indeed the alpha model in the lineup. 20-inch wheels are standard, while 21-inch wheels and LED headlights are available for a further statement of style. Other standard and optional features include xenon headlights, tri-zone air-conditioning, a head-up display, a premium Bang & Olufsen audio system, and a host of driving and safety aids including parking assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist and night vision display.
Now Audi has revealed how much more than those the 2014 Audi RS7 will cost. Audi has officially priced the 2014 RS7 from $104,900 (*not including $825 for destination).
