The 2014 Buick Regal will go on sale late this year with a starting price of $31,540 including destination charge. Production begins on the refreshed Regal this month and the vehicles will hit showrooms in the fall.
The 2014 Regal also offers for the first time an all-wheel-drive version. That begins at $32,790. A new Regal GS model, which includes features such as sport seats, a reconfigurable driver information display and premium audio, also comes standard with the 2-liter turbo engine and begins at $37,830. That’s up from $35,875 for a 2013 Regal GS. A 2014 Regal GS model with all-wheel drive begins at $40,195. Every 2014 Regal will come standard with 24,000 miles, or two years, of regular maintenance and five years of OnStar services. This allows owners to lock and unlock their Regal's doors and activate remote start all via a smartphone app. |
The Buick Regal comes equipped standard with next-generation IntelliLink connectivity with an 8-inch color touch display, rear-vision camera, leather-appointed seating surfaces, heated front seats,18-inch alloy wheels and an improved 2.0-liter turbocharged I4, which delivers more power and better fuel economy.
The new Buick Regal will be available with two powertrains. The first is the 259-hp 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder, which delivers 18 percent more power than the previous year. It also gets a six-speed automatic transmission, delivering an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 21 mpg city and 30 mpg on the highway. This is an overall 17 percent improvement over the last Regal in city mpg. The 2014 Buick Regal also offers a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with eAssist starting at $33,410, delivering 36 mpg highway.
While for Buick Regal GS featuring a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder rated 259 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque from 2,000 rpm to 4,000 rpm. Special features of the GS include high-intensity discharge head lamps, 8-inch driver information display, navigation, Bose premium radio, interactive drive control, 19-inch aluminum wheels and Brembo four-piston front brake calipers.
Each 2014 Buick Regal offers two Driver Confidence packages comprised of various safety technologies.
- The Driver Confidence package I includes forward collision alert, side blind zone alert, lane change alert, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert and following distance indicator.
- The Driver Confidence II package includes full-speed adaptive cruise control and collision preparation.
