Lady Gaga is the new face of Versace's Spring 2014 Campaign!

Surprise! Lady Gaga has been named the new face of Versace for the Spring 2014 campaign!

Over the weekend, the fashion house tweeted, "Versace proudly confirms @LadyGaga as the face of SS14 campaign shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott #VersaceLovesGaga"

Versace also shared the first photograph of the ARTPOP artist in her new role, who we can't help but think is channeling Donatella Versace. Gaga is donning a revealing lilac dress and long blond locks, while reclining in a lounge chair. She completes the stunning look with a purple statement ring, stacked rings and pale peach lips. The "ARTPOP" singer tweeted back, "I’m so happy to be working w/ @Versace for the new Campaign! What do you wanna wear this Spring? #Donatella #famiglia."

Donatella responded, saying "To a true iconic contemporary Versace woman: Thank you. -Donatella"

It's no secret that Lady Gaga is a huge fan of Versace. She wrote a song about Donatella Versace on her latest album ARTPOP called "Donatella." She croons "she's so rich, and so blonde...she's so fab, it's beyond."
