Samsung HomeSync will go on sale in the US starting October 6th


The On Thursday Samsung revealed its HomeSync.

Samsung HomeSync is is a storage solution with an expansive 1TB drive that offers both shared and private storage options for an entire household’s core mobile content, such as photo albums, videos, and music libraries, in one secure location.

Samsung HomeSync can do a lot more than a Chromecast… as long as you’re using it with a Samsung phone or tablet.

Here’s the full list of compatible Samsung devices:
  • Samsung Galaxy S4
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 3
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014
  • Samsung Galaxy S3
  • Samsung Galaxy S2
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0
  • Samsung Galaxy Camera
Here’s some of what the HomeSync can do:
  • Backup photos, videos, music, and other data from your mobile devices.
  • Create up to 8 separate user accounts for synchronizing and shareing your data.
  • Use your phone or tablet as a remote control for your TV, using the touchscreen as a mouse and the on-screen keyboard to type.
  • Stream content from your Samsung Galaxy device to your TV in real-time to display photos, videos, and other content.

The Samsung HomeSync will be available for purchase from Samsung Experience Shops in Best Buy stores, Newegg, Amazon and Samsung.com starting this Sunday, Oct. 6, at a price of $299.
