The system is okay and easy to setup if you just want to view it within your home. It took me a while to set it up so that I can view the cameras on the web. However, after doing all that, the DVR died. It's only about 6 months old. I am still using the cameras with a different system. The new system do not allow me to view them on the web outside of my house. Anyway, the cameras are better than other cheap brands. One word of caution is that if the camera faces the sun most of the time, the lens will get deteriorated quickly. They are replaceable if you look here or other websites.
