Zotac is updating its ZBOX mini-PC line with new Intel Haswell processors.
The update to 4th-generation Intel processors should bring better graphics and PU performance and lower power consumption — which could make these little guys good options for home theater PCs, among other things.
Each model features a 2.5 inch drive bay, support for up to 16GB of DDR3-1600 memory (in 2 SODIMM slots), 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and Gigabit Ethernet. Zotac will offer models with Core i3 through Core i7 processors.
Zotac also will offer barebones models as well as "Plus" editions which come with memory and hard drive storage, but no operating system.
