The next-gen Motorola Moto G - Moto G2 a.k.a. Moto G+1 to ship on Sept 10

According to GSM Arena, the next-gen Motorola Moto G - possibly called Moto G2, or Moto G+1 - should be available to buy on Sept 10, 2014.

The information comes from a retailer, which got the info straight from a Motorola rep. It’s said that the Moto G2 should cost around €250 in Europe - which means that it might be sold for around $250 in the US.
The Motorola Moto G2 allegedly sports a 5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels, a Snapdragon 400 chipset with a quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera with 720p video recording, 2MP front snapper for video chats, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box. The internal storage is expected to be 8GB, but there is no word on expansion just yet.

According to Phone Arena, Another new smartphone that Motorola is expected to release in the near future is the successor to the Moto X, allegedly called Moto X+1. Motorola might be planning to announce the two new handsets at the same time.
